Your Student Senate
Student Senate is the elected student body government, consisting of both the executive council and Senators. Along with legislative responsibilities, Senate represents a united voice of students and serves as a liaison between the student body and the administration, where one of our main focuses is to advocate for the student body. Senate has a long-standing reputation of representing the students in meetings with Trustees as well as at conferences, such as the National Association of College Activities and the Association for College Unions-International. Senate has sponsored major events such as Phantom Planet, Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood, Blues Traveler, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Everclear, Emerson Drive, and Wayne Wonder.
