Faculty in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences are dedicated to undergraduate teaching. Classes are small and personal.
First year classes are limited to 24 students and meet five times per week. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they meet for a lecture/recitation section. On Tuesday and Thursday classes meet in a computer laboratory for one-on-one instruction.
Upper level classes often have enrollments of eight to twelve students, permitting close, personal interactions between students and faculty.
