The Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci in The Yager Museum

On view November 13 through December 19, thereafter by appointment through December 30, 2003

Put down that copy of The da Vinci Code and come to the Yager Museum! Beginning on Thursday, November 13, the Museum will be hosting an exhibit of the work of Leonardo da Vinci to delight science, art, and mystery buffs alike.

Leonardo's scientific and technical drawings have captured the imagination for centuries; with his propensity for keen observation plus his talent as an artist, Leonardo created drawings of such precise accuracy that they could be made into models 500 years later.

Originally developed by the IBM Corporation, and now circulated by Exhibition Alliance Inc. in Hamilton, NY, this interpretive exhibition encourages visitors to explore the concepts of invention, flight, machines, and scientific observation through working models of da Vinci's inventions.

Join us at a reception for the exhibit on November 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The Yager Museum's hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment. The museum is closed during academic holidays. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
