During Fall Term 2002, sophomores Mary Creasey, Adam Krakowski, and Amy Rietzke joined forces with juniors Alexis Mays, Jeff Moyer, and Sarah Stephenson to become curators of Behind Closed Doors, a new Yager Museum exhibition that addresses the inner workings of museums.
The students’ research pertained to all facets of museum work including collection, conservation, cultural patrimony and repatriation, cultural preservation, research, curation, education, and public presentation.
The project was part of Professor of Art History Lee Anne Wilson’s Museum Studies Curatorial Workshop.
The exhibit is on view in the museum’s Warren Gallery. Admission is free.
