First Year Student Advising and Programming

Specialized services and programs are available to first year students at Hartwick, offering support through the transition from highschool to college.

A primary resource for First Year Students is Nejla Camponeschi, Assistant Dean of First Year Students, located on the 4th Floor of Dewar Union. Dean Camponeschi is available to meet one-on-one with students throughout their first year to discuss academic and general transitional issues.

The First Year Seminar, the Dialogues class led by student peer leaders, and first year student programming also offer students guidance, and opportunities for community building, throughout the first semester and academic year at Hartwick.
