ONEONTA, N.Y. - Kristen Sabia and Jillian Duffy notched second half goals to pace Muhlenberg College to a 2-1 victory over Hartwick in field hockey action, Sunday afternoon at Wright Stadium.
At 44:28, Sabia broke a 0-0 deadlock by beating `Wick goalie Katie Thorpe on a shot from three yards out. Leading 1-0, Jillian Duffy gave the Mules some much needed insurance with a goal at 58:56. Hartwick did push a shot past Michelle Consiglio with 43 seconds left in the contest on Morgan Cestari's first of the year.
Hartwick, now 2-2 overall, will host national power Cortland State Wednesday afternoon at Wright Stadium. The match is set for a 4 p.m. start.
