ITHACA, N.Y. - Krista Fieselmann scored two goals to lead Ithaca to a 3-0 victory over Hartwick in field hockey action, Saturday afternoon.
The Bombers, who improved to 3-6 overall and 2-1 in the Empire 8, got all it needed at 14:47 of the first half as Stacey Brown put Ithaca on top for good off a pass from Annie Onzik. Krista Fieselmann scored back to back goals at 27:21 and 33:19 of the first half to put the game away.
Katie Thorpe (South Windsor, Conn.) posted four saves in the defeat at the Hawks fell to 6-5 overall, 3-1 in the Empire 8.
Hartwick returns to action October 10 as it hosts Skidmore at Wright Stadium. The match starts at 4 p.m.
