A new, state-of-the-art building on Hartwick's academic plateau, Golisano Hall will change the face of learning at the College. Golisano Hall will have an immediate and lasting impact on how Hartwick's students and faculty go about the crucial business of Connecting the Classroom to the World.
Here's a brief and approximate look at how the numbers stack up.
900 students will attend a class in Golisano Hall per day
- More than half of Hartwick's student body will study there. Well over half of the student body will prepare for career and life su ccess under Golisano Hall's roof.
600 students will have their major located in Golisano Hall
- The Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies departments will all take up residence in the building.
45 classes will be held in Golisano Hall each day
- At all hours, students and faculty will connect in the personalized, meaningful ways for which Hartwick has long been known. Small classes will be housed in Golisano Hall's innovative settings to facilitate this important work.
40 faculty members will have offices in Golisano Hall
- Hartwick's great minds will take up residence in this great structure. From Golisano Hall the heart of the college will study, teach and prepare the next generation of engaged, active citizens for life beyond Oyaron Hill.
