Keith Geraldsen begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Hartwick football program.
Geraldsen, a four-year player for the Hawks from 2006-09, will work primarily with Hartwick's wide receivers and tight ends over the course of the 2010 campaign.
The Ravena, NY native began his career with the Hawks as both a wide receiver and a defensive back before moving to tight end for his junior and senior seasons.
In 2008, he made seven catches for 142 yards and a touchdown, including a 5-catch, 67-yard, 1-touchdown performance in a 31-28 win over #10 St. John Fisher.
Last year, Geraldsen was a co-captain of the team and he recorded 11 catches for 126 yards and two scores en route to Empire 8 Honorable Mention honors. He made five grabs and accumulated a career-best 88 yards and one touchdown against Ithaca on Oct. 9.
