Dan Talbot, a 1999 graduate of Hartwick, returns to the Hawks' sideline for his 11th season and will have the responsibilities of directing the defensive backs.
In his first year, he coached the defensive line in 1999, then moved onto the defensive backs in 2000, 2002, and 2004-05. Talbot coached the outside linebackers in 2003 and worked with the wide receivers from 2006-09. He coached the defensive backs and the running backs at Oneonta High School during the 2001 season.
Talbot, a high school mathematics teacher at Greene Central, resides in Sidney with his wife, Brenna, and two children, Brendan and Hannah.
