Jake Tompkins enters his 9th season as an assistant coach at Hartwick.

He served as the offensive line coach for four seasons and has served as coach of the running backs since 2005.

Tompkins was an offensive lineman for the Hawks from 1997-2000. He earned his bachelor's degree in Management from Hartwick in 2001.

Tompkins is a native of Guilford, New York, and currently resides in Oneonta.
