ROCHESTER, NY - Jason Boltus has been named the ECAC Northwest Co-Offensive Player of the Week two days after earning Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week accolades. Boltus shares the award with RPI quarterback Jimmy Robertson.
Boltus completed 24-of-36 passes for 361 yards and five touchdowns on Saturday to lead Hartwick to its 49-12 blowout win over Becker. He leads the country in total offense averaging 384.6 yards per game. Boltus is also ranked third in the nation in the category of "Points Responsible For," 11th in completions, and 15th in passing yards.
The Hawks are ranked 1st in passing offense and third in scoring offense in Division III football. They take their show on the road this weekend at Mount Ida on Saturday at 1 p.m.
