SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - Hartwick College's men's cross country team finished seventh at the 2008 Empire 8 Cross Country Championships at Saratoga Spa State Park on Saturday. The Hawks finished with a total team time of 2:37:55.04.
Tim Sattler (Warwick, NY) earned the Hawks' fastest time of the afternoon ending the 8K in 29:17.96. Justin Pedersen (Gilbertsville, NY) was under 21 seconds behind him crossing the finish line in 29:38.65.
Ithaca won the E8 title with a time of 2:11:03.04. RIT took second with Nazareth finishing in third place.
The Hartwick men's cross country team is off next weekend before competing at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Championships on Nov. 8.
