In addition the information provided on the International Financial Aid form (IFAF) is considered for admission and scholarship selection.

Transfer International Applicants & Advanced Credit
Hartwick College recognizes the International Baccalaureate Diploma for purposes of admission. Course credit will be granted for higher level subjects with grades of 4 or better. Standard level subjects will be evaluated on an individual basis. A-levels are also considered for Hartwick College credit. Other coursework will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Visa Information
A student visa is necessary to enter the United States to study. If you are accepted, an I-20 AB student certification is mailed from our designated school official, the associate director for international programs, after you have paid the enrollment fee of $400 (U.S. dollars), completed and signed the enrollment card, and provided Hartwick College with the International Student Financial Aid Form.
Please note that visa procuedures and the time frame for applying and receiving a visa vary slightly from one country to another. Before you apply for your visa, check with the U.S. Embassy in your country to learn what supporting documents are required and how long the process will take. You will need to go to or mail in the appropriate forms to the United States Embassy or in some cases, the U.S. Consulate closest to you.
Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is limited; however, Hartwick does offer some scholarships to international students on a competitive basis. Students must complete the International Student Financial Aid Form and submit it with the admission application unless they are not applying for aid.
It is important to mention that financial aid and merit-based scholarships for international students are available and that you will be considered once your application is complete. Students should expect to contribute at least US $22,000 per year up to US $42,770 per year to cover tuition, room and board, technology fee, health fee, and student activity fee. These figures do not include fees for books, personal expenses, and travel expenses.
