Messages from The President

June 3, 2021: President’s Address

President Margaret L. Drugovich offers her last COVID video message after 15 months of communication during this extraordinary time. She thanks all viewers of her Sunday messages for staying connected and caring so much about the College.

The President highlights the chronicle of our shared COVID journey as presented in the new WICK magazine, and underscores that it reflects work that we can all be proud of. Looking to the future, she shares what we can expect when our fully vaccinated community reopens for in-person classes in the fall. She reflects on how rewarding it will be to reclaim our preferred way of being and learning together, and reminds employees and students about the August 1 deadline for submitting their records of full vaccination.

Dr. Drugovich asks all members of our community to make a gift of support to the Hartwick Fund by June 30.  This vital annual support bridges the gap between what students can pay for their education and its actual cost.  This support is especially important in this year that has presented many unexpected and unbudgeted challenges.

In recognition of our diverse community and the importance of working together toward inclusion during PRIDE month, today’s song is Power of Two by the Indigo Girls.
