Healthy Hartwick Information for Your Specific Needs:


Watch for Symptoms of COVID-19

  • Fever or chills
  • Respiratory symptoms, such as dry cough or shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Body or muscle aches
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

 

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure. Many people with COVID-19 have mild symptoms and are able to recover at home.


Experiencing symptoms? Exposed to someone with a confirmed COVID-19 case?

Stay Home—Avoid spreading virus to others.

Contact your primary care physician. If you don’t have one, call the Perrella Health Center at 607-431-4120.


Call 911—Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:

Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath

Persistent pain/pressure in the chest

New confusion

Bluish lips or face

Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping a safe space between yourself and other people who are not from your household.

To practice social or physical distancing, stay at least 6 feet from other people who are not from your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
