What We Do
Our main responsibility is fulfilling media requests that enhance classroom teaching and learning experiences. Many of our classrooms are currently equipped with built-in media equipment. However, should additional media equipment be needed, we will be happy to move and set up the equipment in your class.
We also provide additional media services and facilities to the Hartwick community.

Facilities & Equipment
Our facilities consist of an iMac video editing suite which can be reserved during normal work hours. Televisions, VCRs, slide projectors, overhead projectors, data projectors, DVD players, CD burner, wireless audio system, portable audio system (PA), microphones, digital still cameras, digital camcorders, and tripods are available to be used on site, or, in some cases may be borrowed for three days. As the media center is charged to meet the audio-visual requirements of the faculty, we are interested in your suggestions for improved services.
Media Request Policy & Forms
Services and facility reservations are provided on a first-come-first-served basis. To guarantee services, we request a minimum of 24-hour notice for all media setups for classroom use. We will try our best to fulfill last-minute requests based on equipment availability, but they are NOT guaranteed. While advance reservations are not required for media equipment loan services, reservations are recommended.
To make equipment reservations for classroom use, please place requests online at Media Services Equipment Request. You may also call Media Services at extension 4486 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
