Golisano 103 Controls

  • Press anywhere on the Crestron touch screen to “wake” it up.
  • Press the “LAPTOP” button (left side, 2nd button from the top) to project your laptop. This will also lower the screen.
  • Connect your laptop to the VGA cable; connect the headphone jack to your laptop if you are using sound.
  • Press the “EXIT” button (right side, bottom button) and follow the directions to shut the system down.

  • Use the Epson remote to turn the projector on and off – press the power button (top left) once to turn it on.
  • If the Crestron screen below the external monitor is dark, touch it once.  When you see “Touch Screen to Begin”, touch the screen again to continue.
  • Plug the VGA and audio cables, or the HDMI cable into your laptop. Drag the Laptop icon into the Projector box.
  • Or login to the podium desktop computer using your Hartwick username and password. Drag the Computer icon into the Projector box.
  • The volume coming through the speakers is controlled by the Room Volume control located on the right of the Crestron screen.
  • Use the Epson projector remote to turn the system off – press the power button (top left) twice.

Media Services provides consultation, design, installation and maintenance services for the College classrooms, meeting rooms, and other learning environments.

* Wireless projection from laptops, phones and tablets is now available in several rooms. There are some limitations, but it does offer additional options for classroom presentation. If you would like to test out the Epson iProjection app, please email spiwakc@hartwick.edu.
