- If the Crestron screen below the external monitor is dark, touch it once. When you see “Touch Screen to Begin”, touch the screen again to continue.
- Plug the VGA and audio cables, or the HDMI cable into your laptop. Drag the Laptop icon into the Projector box. FOR BEST RESULTS, use the HDMI cable whenever possible.
- Or login to the podium desktop computer using your Hartwick username and password. Drag the Computer icon into the Projector box.
- The volume coming through the speakers is controlled by the Room Volume control located on the right of the Crestron touch screen.
- To shut down the projection system, press the SYSTEM OFF button on the lower left corner of the touch screen.

- Turn projector on by pressing the On button on the remote once (orange button, top left of remote).
- Plug the VGA cable into the laptop. If using audio, plug the audio jack into the headphone port on the laptop.

- Press the power button on the top right of the rack.
- Select LAPTOP 1 (your laptop) or DVD 1 (JVC DVD/VCR) to select the input.
- Adjust the volume with the PROGRAM AUDIO knob.
- If there is still no audio, be sure the amp in the bottom of the rack is on. The power button is on the bottom right corner and should be solid blue.
- When are finished, turn the rack power button off (top right).
- Turn off the projector by pressing the Standby button (top middle) on the Epson remote once. You will hear it beep twice.

- Plug the VGA cable (on the podium) into the appropriate adapter or directly into your laptop. If you need sound, also plug the “headphone cable” into the laptop.

- Or, plug HDMI cable (hanging on the metal cabinet) into the appropriate adapter or directly into your laptop. HDMI also sends audio to the projector so there is no additional cable needed.
- The projector input should be set to HDMI 1 no matter which cable you use.
- Be sure the TEAC stereo amp is set on LAPTOP (shows CD on the screen) for both HDMI & VGA cable audio. Use the volume knob on the stereo amp to set the volume. You may also need to make audio adjustments on the laptop.
- Turn off the projector by pressing the power button on the remote twice.

- All cables are located in the “CABLE CADDY” on the desk.
- Plug VGA and “headphone cable” into the laptop.

- Press “Source Search” on the projector remote once you connect your laptop
- Volume control is through your laptop’s sound mixer (amp in cabinet must be on). You may have to select the playback device in your computer’s sound settings.

- To use the DVD/VCR in the rack, press the Video button (on the Epson remote) several times until the Source says “Video”. It will cycle through HDMI 1, HDMI 2, and S-Video before it gets there.
- Audio is controlled by the amp in the rack. There is a headphone jack to plug into the laptop – press the COMP button on the amp to use this. For DVD/VCR audio, press the DVD button on the amp. The big knob on the right side controls the volume.
- Turn off the projector by pressing the power button on the remote twice.
