Transfer Student Course Planning

The academic planning process for transfer students is conducted on an individual basis.

Follow the steps below to ensure a seamless transition

Step 1: 

  • Request that your official college transcripts be sent to our Registrar’s Office.  
  • Use our College Catalog to:
    • Review requirements for any academic major you are considering
    • Review our FlightPath Curriculum and general education requirements

Step 2: 

Complete the following, available on line:

Step 3: 

The information you submit on the ACP, as well as placement exam results, will be used as we create your fall term course schedule. Your schedule will be released to you via WebAdvisor when complete (watch for an email with instructions for accessing your schedule).

Step 4:

Adjustments to course schedules based on changing preferences, a change in major, placement exam results, etc. can be made  by contacting the Coordinator of Advising and Pre-Professional Programs Joe Ficano (see contact information below). Transfer students wishing to meet in person over the summer can also arrange for an individual visit (contact information below). Further opportunities for course adjustments are built into the Welcome Weekend program as well, including a one-on-one academic advising session.
