I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and in 2001 with a Bachelor in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology (Molecular Genetics). The same year, I accepted a one-year pharmacology fellow position, then a physiology fellow position for the following 3 years at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
