Fabrication Laboratory

A fabrication laboratory is a small-scale workshop typically equipped with a variety of computer-controlled tools and open source software.

Goal: $300,000

When complete, Hartwick’s FabLab will be an important component of the Griffiths Center for Collaboration and Innovation (GCCI), which is the operational umbrella for the Makerspace, E-Hub, and FabLab, and builds on student and faculty collaboration. The FabLab will provide students a cross-disciplinary educational experience while using digital modeling tools to create innovative projects. Their experiences in the FabLab will make students more competitive in the job market regardless of their chosen field.
