The Hartwick College campus will be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 2, due to a pending severe snow storm.
All classes, athletic events, and other activities at the College scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled. Yager Museum will also be closed.
Only essential personnel are required to report as usual. Faculty and staff with any questions are encouraged to contact their supervisor or department chair.
This snow storm is slated to deliver 12″-18″ of snow starting early Friday morning (12-1 a.m.), with heavy wet snow until mid/late morning, followed by a brief lull. Tomorrow afternoon will see blowing snow and high winds and blizzard-like conditions. Travel will be dangerous throughout the day Friday.
Also, Oneonta Public Transportation (OPT) has canceled service tomorrow.
Closing the campus is meant to protect the health and safety of our students and employees.
For additional information and updates, visit the Hartwick College website or its social media channels, and monitor area media outlets.
