Summer 2016 Online Courses

Hartwick College Offers Online Courses This Summer

March 18, 2016

Hartwick College today announced it will offer a series of online courses this summer. Seventeen courses in a variety of subjects will be available over three four-week sessions starting May 31. The courses are open to anyone in the community.

“We are excited about this summer’s programs, as we have nearly doubled our online offerings, with an even greater variety across all academic areas,” said Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Kellie H. Bean, who oversees the online curriculum. “Our online program is meeting an increased demand for distance learning opportunities.”

For current Hartwick students, she said, the online courses can help them meet general education requirements, catch up on credits, get ahead in their programs, or improve their GPA by retaking a class. Alumni, prospective students, and members of the Hartwick community are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about new fields or simply experience learning in an online format.

The courses, all taught by members of the Hartwick College faculty, earn participants three or four credit hours per session.
