Hartwick College Theatre Arts Presents ‘Twelfth Night’

April 5, 2017

The Hartwick College Theatre Arts Department is pleased to announce its spring main stage production of “Twelfth Night, or What You Will” by William Shakespeare. The production will run April 11-14 at 8 p.m., and April 15 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., in Slade Theatre, Yager Hall, on the College campus. Admission is $5 for all students and the Hartwick community, and $10 for the general public.

“If music be the food of love, play on!” or as director Marc Shaw would say, “If 80’s music be the food of love, play on!” This version of Shakespeare’s classic story of mistaken identity and love transforms Slade Theatre into a 1980s night club.

“Twelfth Night” is directed by Hartwick College Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Marc Shaw with scenic and lighting design by Alexander Austein ’17, whose work on “Twelfth Night” will complete his Senior Thesis for the Theatre Arts major.

The cast includes Erin Corah ’18, Jessica Fehribach ’19, Marcus Hudson ’18, Tashiem Jordan ’17, Taylor Morin ’17, Dillon Orlando ’20, Daniel Randolph ’20, Nicholas Ryan ’18, Carlos Silva ’18, Allison Taft ’20, Abbey Vermeal ’18, Nick Woolson ’20, and Summer Wysocki ’17.

The production is stage managed by Chelsea Jones ’18, with assistance from Daniel Randolph ’20 and Karina Costanzo ’20.
