Winners of the spring 2017 Pine Lake Outstanding Nature Photography Contest were announced recently in the Vaudevillian at the College’s Pine Lake Environmental Campus. More than 30 photos were submitted for review this season.
The following students were awarded prizes based on careful consideration and selection by judges from all images submitted:
Honorable mentions from the event included: Kerrie Deliberis ’17, for “Perspective;” Professor of Psychology Lisa Onorato for “Silhouette;” and Maun for “On Guard.” The People’s Choice award went to Brittanie LaTour ’19.
Coordinator for Challenge Education and Pine Lake Residency and Director of Pine Lake Erin Toal, Professor of Art Katharine Kreisher, and Adjunct Professor of Photography Kevin Gray organized the show. Serving as judges for the competition were Professor Emeritus and 2017 Round House Press Artist Phil Young, Professor Emeritus Larry Mirachi, and Brynn Marion ’20, Pine Lake resident and Hartwick student.
The photo show will be on display in the Vaudevillian at Pine Lake through the fall of 2017.
