Student Success Specialist for Athletes

Merlin Joseph received his Master’s of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut in May of 2021 while serving as a graduate assistant for the UConn Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country program. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from SUNY Fredonia in 2018 with minors in Business Administration and Athletic Coaching. During his time at SUNY Fredonia, Merlin was a 4-year, competitive, Division III athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field while completing his studies. Merlin was named to the Cross Country All-SUNYAC Second Team in 2017. Furthermore, Merlin was a 3-year member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, including 2 years as the secretary, and was a member of the 2018 SUNY Fredonia Athletic Director Search Committee.
