Women's Soccer in Portugal

By Stella Giustino '25

Follow along to hear about Hartwick’s women’s soccer team spring break trip to Portugal. The team traveled to multiple cities, including Lisbon and Porto, where they spent time sightseeing and exploring exciting new locations. They got to experience the Portuguese “take” on soccer by competing in two friendly matches. All of the team’s activities and excursions were led by their amazing tour guide, Pedro Portas. We even got to meet Francisco Marcos ’68, an external senior advisor at Sporting Club Portugal (SCP) and a National Soccer Hall of Fame-er! Overall, a great time for our women’s soccer team; one that they will all remember as a once in a lifetime experience.
