Switch up your regular routine and embrace adventure!
To learn how to live a well-balanced life, you should first take on new challenges, discover what you do and don’t like, and broaden your worldview. There’s no better way to do that than with a global learning experience.

Go Abroad
The best way to understand how our intercultural world works is to experience other cultures face-to-face. At Hartwick, you have opportunities to get out of the classroom and do exactly that.

International Student Services
Staff in the Center for Global Education provide personal, cultural, and immigration support to international students to help make Hartwick a home away from home.

Northeast Experience
Students from around the world have the opportunity to study and immerse themselves in U.S. culture for a semester or a full academic year at Hartwick College.

January Study Abroad Courses
Offered in between the fall and spring semesters, January Term (J Term) faculty-led travel courses are a unique Hartwick opportunity, with generous scholarships available to help you pay for the experience. For example, study nursing in Scotland, economics and biology in Portugal, public health in Micronesia or geology in Hawaii!
