College Holidays & Breaks

2025-2026
The College will observe the following holidays and planned breaks during the year. Generally, when a scheduled holiday falls on Saturday, the Friday before is observed. If a scheduled holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following is observed. The faculty observe the same holidays and breaks as the students.
Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Labor Day
Certain offices will be open on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025 to meet the needs of the students who will be on campus. Staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor. Employees working on Labor Day will be allowed a “floating holiday” to be taken within the subsequent three months, with their supervisor’s approval.
November Break
November break will begin at noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 and continue through Friday, November 28, 2025. Essential offices will remain open during break, and staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor.
Winter Break
Winter break will begin on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 and continue through Thursday, January 1, 2026. Offices will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026. Essential offices will remain open during break, and staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Certain offices will be open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 19, 2026 to meet the needs of the students who will be on campus. Staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor. Employees working on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will be allowed a “floating holiday” to be taken within the subsequent three months, with their supervisor’s approval.
Memorial Day
In observance of Memorial Day, offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Juneteenth
In observance of Juneteenth, offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.
