College Holidays & Closures

The College will observe the following holidays, planned breaks/closures during the year. Generally, when a scheduled holiday falls on Saturday, the Friday before is observed. If a scheduled holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following is observed. The faculty observe the same holidays and closures as the students.

Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Labor Day
Certain offices will be open on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024 to meet the needs of the students who will be on campus. Staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor. Employees working on Labor Day will be allowed a “floating holiday” to be taken within the subsequent three months, with their supervisor’s approval.

November Break
Offices will be closed at Noon on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 and will remain closed all day Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29, 2024.

Winter Break
Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Offices will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Memorial Day
In observance of Memorial Day, offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025.

Juneteenth
In observance of Juneteenth, offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
