College Holidays & Closures

The College will observe the following holidays, planned breaks/closures during the year. Generally, when a scheduled holiday falls on Saturday, the Friday before is observed. If a scheduled holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following is observed. The faculty observe the same holidays and closures as the students.

Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Labor Day
Certain offices will be open on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2022 to meet the needs of the students who will be on campus. Staffing will be at the discretion of the supervisor. Employees working on Labor Day will be allowed a “floating day off” to be used during the current fiscal year and scheduled with their supervisor’s approval.

November Break
Offices will be closed at Noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and will remain closed all day Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25, 2022.

Winter Break
Offices will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 through Sunday, January 1, 2023. Offices will reopen on Monday, January 2, 2023.

Memorial Day
In observance of Memorial Day, offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023.

Juneteenth
In observance of Juneteenth, offices will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023.
