Faculty and staff advisors assist students by meeting with them personally to ensure they take the necessary coursework. They provide activities to assist with medical career exploration through group advising forums, referrals to internship opportunities, and invite representatives from professional schools to meet students on campus. Hartwick students get help preparing professional school application materials such as personal statements, resumes, and recommendation letters; and conducting formal interviews with pre- and post-consultation. This process positions students to be the most competitive candidates possible when they apply to professional programs after Hartwick.
