The HartLand Promise

A Commitment to our Neighbors

Hartwick’s HartLand Promise

When it comes to deciding where to go to college, Hartwick wants students who live or attend high school in the region to think no further than us on Oyaron Hill!

At a comparable cost of attending a public institution in New York, students in public and private high schools in Otsego County, Chenango County, Delaware County, Herkimer County, Madison County, Montgomery County, Oneida County and Schoharie County, can now take advantage of Hartwick’s unique education approach through the College’s new HartLand Promise cost of education rate.

Made possible through the generosity of donors, the HartLand Promise is yet another step in Hartwick’s deep and historic commitment to the region.

That Means

Your HartLand Promise tuition and fee rate for 2023-24 = $8,775 a year.

How it Works

Eligible students from the eight surrounding counties who apply and are admitted to Hartwick will be charged tuition and fees at a comparable rate to the tuition and fees charged at most New York state public four-year institutions.

In some cases, Hartwick’s tuition and fees will be even lower.
