“Major”: Guiding Eyes for the Blind Guide Dog
Activities: Sleeping, sitting quietly in class, playing on Frisbee Field, training with Roselyn, going on tours
Hometown: Hartwick College
High School: I didn’t go to High School!

I chose to come to Hartwick because everyone here is so friendly and caring, just like me! They give me lots of belly rubs and treats—well, okay, training treats—and they’re helping me learn how to be the best guide dog ever. Hartwick is full of good smells and good people, and I can’t wait to make someone’s life brighter when I graduate!

Going on tour is such an adventure! I get to explore new places, meet lots of friendly humans, and practice my skills in all kinds of situations. It’s great training for helping my future person navigate wherever life takes us. The best part is all the encouragement—people cheer me on and give me head pats when I do well. I’m learning so much and can’t wait to keep growing into the best guide dog I can be!
