Howard Lichtman

Professor and Department Chair of Computer Science

Howard Lichtman is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences. His courses include programming, security, computer networks, blockchain technologies, and server hardware. Prof. Lichtman’s research interests revolve around many of the courses that he teaches. Having been a network engineer before coming to Hartwick, he brings an industry perspective to his teaching that allows students to gain a better understanding of the relevance of the material they are learning. One of his many passions are industry certifications, which he considers an important part of a technology-related degree.
