Senior Success Coach, Coordinator of Persistence Programs
Jason Stanton has nearly 15 years experience working at Hartwick College. Serving in various roles in the Student Success Center, he has been committed to motivate, inspire and support students through instruction both in and out of the classroom experience. Jason assists the Student Success Center with the Academic Rebound Program, tutoring services, and general academic advising services. He meets with students to help them academically, assist with class schedules, guide students through paperwork/forms, and more. Talents of Belief, Developer, Relator, Communication, and Context are strengths that have allowed him to think strategically, build relationships, influence action, and execute follow-through. With deep roots in the greater Oneonta area, dating back to the 1790’s, Jason has a rich understanding of our community. After graduating from SUNY Oneonta, he decided to stay locally, raise a family and connect with others who also call Oneonta their home.
