Michael Ennist

Assistant Director of Campus Safety

Michael Ennist began his employment with Hartwick College Campus Safety in May of 2015. Mike was appointed Shift Supervisor and in 2020 was appointed to his current position as Assistant Director of Hartwick College Campus Safety.

Prior to employment with Hartwick Col lege Mike began his police career in 1993 and completed a successful 22 years with the Town of Shandaken Police Department as a Patrolman and the Ulster County Sheriffs Department as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Criminal Division. Currently as well as being Assistant Director Mike is also a Police Officer with the Town of Colchester Police Department in Delaware County. Mike is trained Title IX Investigator and has extensive training and experience handling mental hea lth issues, da ting and domestic violence, is a certified instructor in rapid deployment for critical incidents as well as holding mul tiple police certificates for in-service training.
