Samantha Lara

Associate Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

Samantha (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. She is the primary program coordinator for the SOAR Mentorship Program as well as the DIB Advocate program supervisor. Samantha has a Masters Degree in Social Work and employs feminism, cultural humility, and strengths based approaches to her work with colleagues and students. Before coming to Hartwick, Samantha worked as a Social Worker and was employed in mental health work, juvenile justice work, and restorative practice programming. Samantha enjoys reading, watching movies and television, and playing with her dog!
