Xiomara Aristide ’28
2026-2027 Grow America Fellow
Xiomara Aristide ’28 (North Babylon, NY) is a three-year honor student with a double major in political science and philosophy and a minor in legal studies. Beyond her academic achievements as a Dean’s List scholar, Xiomara is involved in all aspects of campus life. A scholar athlete on the women’s track & field team, she competed most recently in the Outdoor Track & Field Championship. You will also find Xiomara playing saxophone in Hartwick’s wind ensemble and taking leadership roles as a member of Sisters and Brothers United (SABU), Vice-President of Finance for the Student Government Association (SGA), and Event Co-coordinator for the Hartwick Law Club.
Xiomara was heavily involved in community service both during high school and now at Hartwick, making this Fellowship a natural next step. Xiomara applied for the Grow America Fellowship for both the challenge and the personal reward, stating that “helping people is a passion of mine, and Grow America does that in such impactful ways.”
She hopes to bring her ambition, out of the box thinking, hard work, and commitment to Grow America and is looking forward to having the experience provide opportunities for self-discovery and exposure to new perspectives. After Hartwick, Xiomara plans to attend law school and become a practicing attorney.
