Purpose
Policy # 6.25: This policy outlines expectations when employees bring their children to the workplace.

Policy Scope
This policy applies to all employees regardless of employment type.

Hartwick College values family life and recognizes that employees may, at times, bring their children into the workplace. On such occasions, employees must assure continuous supervision and care of their children. Employees who bring their children to the Campus will be held fully responsible for their child’s/children’s actions, welfare and safety, and must ensure that the presence of their child(ren) on campus does not negatively impact the performance of employees, the Hartwick student experience, or the work of the College.

This policy is not intended to discourage family members, minors and dependents from attending cultural or sporting events, or other authorized use of College facilities.
