Constitution Day Talk featuring one of America's Most Prominent Pollsters

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, preeminent pollster John Zogby will deliver a Constitution Day address titled “The 2024 Election: What Are the Polls Really Saying?,” in the Anderson Theatre in the Anderson Center for the Arts at Hartwick College.John Zogby

In the address, Zogby will discuss his latest book, Beyond the Horse Race: How to Read the Polls and Why We Should, in which he argues that polls offer important insights into the exercise of the right to vote. In his book, Zogby also examines the issues that can influence voters, and how and why people can (and do) change their minds.

Zogby, who hails from Utica, N.Y., is the founder of the Zogby Poll and Zogby International. He is also a senior partner at John Zogby Strategies, a marketing and political consulting firm he established in 2016 with his two sons. Zogby has written weekly columns for Forbes and has contributed to a presidential report card since the start of the Obama administration.

This talk is presented in recognition of Constitution Day and sponsored by The Hartwick Institute of Public Service, the Hartwick Office of Civic Engagement, TEDx Oneonta and the Upstate Leadership Conference.
