Nominations were solicited through a short survey sent to students from both college communities. Students were invited to nominate their top choices of businesses in the Oneonta area. To be nominated, students had to clearly convey how the businesses they nominated provided “exceptional service to diverse populations, treat customers with utmost respect and civility, and go above and beyond in meeting the needs of its diverse customers.”

Both campuses take turns hosting the award ceremony. This year’s event was held in Hartwick’s Anderson Center for the Arts, while last year’s ceremony took place in SUNY Oneonta’s Center for Racial Justice and Inclusive Excellence.
