Environment Scholars Program

The Environment Scholars Program offers two scholarship opportunities for Hartwick students enrolled at the College at the time of the proposed project.

The awards ($6,000 maximum) can support student research or internship opportunities. A faculty mentor is required for each proposal. Priority is given to students enrolled in the Environment, Sustainability and Society (ENSS) major or minor.

The Pine Lake Environmental Research Scholars Award is given annually, on a competitive basis, to one or more students who plan to conduct student-faculty collaborative research at Pine Lake or in nearby Robert V. Riddell State Park.

The Environmental Internship Scholar Award is given annually, on a competitive basis, to students participating in an environment-related internship at any time during the academic year.
