Hartwick College Honor Band

Hartwick College Musical Ensemble

The Music Department at Hartwick College is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Hartwick College Honor Band, to be held at the College’s Anderson Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

This event brings high school students from around the region together for an intensive day of music-making on our beautiful campus with our faculty and students. The day culminates in an evening concert alongside the Hartwick Wind Ensemble and faculty trombone soloist Professor Paul Blake.

Players also work with a distinguished guest conductor.  This year’s guest is Dr. Christian Wilhjelm, director of the New Jersey Wind Symphony.

Any experienced band students in grades 9-12 are invited to apply.  Appliants will be notified of their status by Wednesday, October 3. A $25 registration fee will cover lunch, dinner, and a t-shirt.

Complete your online application by October 1.
