Academic Rebound Programs

According to the Satisfactory Academic Standards of Progress (effective July 1, 2009), the maintenance of good academic standing requires students to meet minimum standards for cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), term GPA, and total credits. Failure to meet these standards results in academic dismissal (AD) or academic rebound (AR). See the College’s Educational Policies and Procedures in the College catalog for more details.

Students placed on academic rebound are required to complete requirements designed to enhance each student’s success both inside and outside the classroom, including the completion of our Success Strategy and JumpStart courses.

In addition to teaching these academic rebound classes, CSS staff provide support through individual mentoring and by monitoring study hall hours requirements.
