The investment will support instruction, including faculty, clinical adjuncts and program operations, while also establishing named nursing scholarships.

The scholarships represent the highest academic distinction at Hartwick College.

The day welcomed more than 100 first-time donors, an encouraging sign of growing engagement and a strengthening culture of philanthropy across the Hartwick community.

Half of the Class of ’25 is comprised of recruited athletes, and roughly 40% of all Hartwick undergraduates play at least one intercollegiate sport.

President-elect Laurel Bongiorno, who currently serves as vice president of academic affairs and provost, was alongside President Mullen to share her vision for the College’s future.

Hartwick ended the calendar year with one of its strongest fundraising finishes in recent history, generating meaningful momentum for the Together, We Soar campaign.

Alumni, family and friends returned to Hartwick’s beloved Pine Lake, to breathe in its history, rekindle their memories and celebrate the life and influence of faculty member C.W. “Sandy” Huntington.

The gift was created as a match challenge, designed to inspire alumni and others to support our students and programs like never before. Specifically, every dollar received by The Hartwick Fund before Dec. 31 will be matched, effectively doubling the impact of all cash gifts received.
