Green serves as the national security correspondent for WTOP, an all-news radio station and digital news organization in Washington, D.C., where he reports on intelligence, foreign policy, terrorism, cybersecurity and international security.

Five members of the Hartwick College community have been selected to receive a 2026 Alumni Award. These honors salute graduates and current faculty or staff for their service to the College and Hartwick community.

McIntire, one of the twelve distinguished members of the Hartwick Institute of Public Service Leadership Council, graduated from Hartwick in 1985 with a degree in political science.

The event is primarily for children ages 5 to 11. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The grant will support the effort to educate, engage and empower young people across Otsego County to become active participants in American democracy.

Resident physicians from medical schools across the United States and around the world participated in the training, which focused on strengthening clinical judgment, communication, teamwork and patient-centered care.

Students attending orientation came from 14 states, traveling from as far away as Arizona and Idaho. The incoming class also reflects 34 academic interests and includes 127 student-athletes and 109 students from HartLand Promise regions.

The Hartwick College Art and Art History Department celebrated the accomplishments of graduating student artists during the Senior Art Show Reception in the Foreman Gallery.

The ceremony included the presentation of the white coat and nursing pins, the recitation of the International Nurse’s Pledge.

The annual award celebrates Hartwick nursing alumni whose careers reflect the values of compassion, lifelong learning and professional excellence fostered through the College’s nursing program.
