Audiences can expect a lively showcase of athleticism and storytelling set to the rhythms of African music.

A familiar and respected leader within the Hartwick community, Gregory brings more than 25 years of experience in enrollment, financial aid and higher education marketing.

The Spring Faculty Lecture Series will feature a presentation by Elena Chernyak, associate professor of sociology and director of the Social Work Program, on Friday, April 3. The lecture will take place from 12:20 to 1:15 p.m. in Eaton Lounge, Bresee Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

Students have a direct voice in shaping dining through the Dining Advisory Group.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit Hartwick’s student-athletes, helping provide expanded opportunities, upgraded resources and meaningful competitive experiences.

Two internationally renowned authorities on Edgar Allan Poe, one the author of an acclaimed biography of Edgar Allan Poe, and the other a renowned rare-book collector will speak.

The Meredith Sport Management Speaker Series brings prominent leaders to campus to engage with students, faculty and the community, reflecting Hartwick College’s commitment to academic excellence, real-world learning opportunities and its longstanding tradition of athletics.

The exhibition kicks off a series of programs at Hartwick College exploring the life, work and cultural impact of Edgar Allan Poe.

The lecture honors Leslie Rude, a former Hartwick College faculty member and administrator, for his passionate interests in political science and public speaking, and his commitment to public life.

In partnership with the Hanford Mills Museum, the Yager Museum will offer water-themed games, crafts and hands-on activities from Monday, Feb. 16, through Wednesday, Feb. 18. “World of Water” will run from 1 to 3 p.m. each day and is free and open to the public.
