Combine your Global Studies major with Business and get ahead in the fast-paced world of international business relations. Studying abroad is at the heart of the Global Studies program. J Term experiences let you immerse yourself in world cultures, while funded internships in Morocco, Belgium, and Senegal give you the chance to study and work in diverse global communities.

GRADUATE SCHOOL

Like Matipa Mutoti ‘20, now a graduate student at American University in Washington D.C. Matipa received an Emerson Internship Fellowship in 2019 and interned at Fondation Orient-Occident in Rabat Prefecture, Morocco.

EMPLOYMENT

Kelsey VanAlstyne ‘20 used the skills she learned as a Women’s Empowerment Intern at L’Union de L’Action Feminine in Morocco to work as a Victim’s Advocate at Opportunities for Otsego. With a double-major in Political Science, she presented her thesis “Microfinance as a Tool for Female Empowerment: A Case Study of Bolivia, India and Tanzania” at Student Showcase.
