Rise in the Rankings for Hartwick College

Hartwick College moved up 21 slots in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report rankings for National Liberal Arts Colleges, finishing at #121. This upward climb has become a trend, as Hartwick finished #142 in 2022, #146 in 2021 and #160 in 2020. Hartwick also tied at #26 on the publication’s “Top Performer on Social Mobility” list.

The College also had a solid showing in several other recently released rankings. Hartwick placed 8th on a “Top Merit Scholarships” listing, according to Road2college.com. Niche put Hartwick College at #37 on the list of “Most Diverse Colleges in New York.”

The Princeton Review noted Hartwick as a “2024 Best Northeastern College” and Washington Monthly named Hartwick to their “Best Bang for the Buck: Northeast” list.
