3-Year Nursing Degree Curriculum
This rigorous program dramatically reduces the cost of a private college education while enabling students in the program to take advantage of every opportunity offered in our traditional four-year program. Students pursuing the Three-Year Degree Program take 16-20 credits per semester. In the summer following their first year, students must complete three accelerated courses, Pathophysiology & Pharmacology I, Pathophysiology & Pharmacology II, and Medical-Surgical Nursing I. These accelerated courses, normally offered over a semester, run from four to six weeks in length, usually in June, July and August. The fee for these summer courses are subject to change.
The Three-Year Degree Program is for well prepared, motivated, and eligible students. Eligible students are invited to accept their invitation to enroll in the program. In order to be eligible for these accelerated summer courses, student must earn a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA by the end of their first year. Progression in the Three-Year Degree Program is dependent upon successful completion (with a grade of ‘C’ or higher) of all courses required for the major. Applicants to the Three-Year Degree Program must sign and submit a declaration of intent.
